Atiku Abubakar Mourns Passing of Dedicated Campaign Supporter, Muhammad Dakat

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, renowned as the presidential contender for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, has conveyed his heartfelt sorrow following the demise of a fervent advocate, Muhammad Dakat.

The late Dakat held the esteemed position of Director General for the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM) during the vigorous election campaign of 2023. The passing of this committed campaigner has left a somber undertone in the wake of the election fervor.

Atiku, in a statement on Tuesday, declared: “As Director General of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM), Muhammad brought a huge dose of enthusiasm and inspiration to the assignment of mobilizing compatriots in the last general election.

“Even after the election, he was unwavering in his commitment to the cause.

“Muhammad was a rallying point for young people and a natural leader who led by his convictions and personal example.

“We have lost one of the most Atikulated members of our family at such a young age.”

Atiku’s statement reads: “I have just been briefed about the passing of Muhammad Dakat. As Director General of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM), Muhammad brought a huge dose of enthusiasm and inspiration to the assignment of mobilizing compatriots in the last general election.
