Chelsea have announced the signing of Molde striker David Datro Fofana, with the 20-year-old joining the club on January 1, 2023. The transfer fee for Fofana was €12 million.
Fofana has impressed with Molde, scoring more goals for the club than Erling Haaland did before he left. Chelsea view Fofana as a player for the future and are excited to welcome him to the club.
It is currently unknown whether Fofana will be sent on loan by Chelsea or stay with the club. Regardless, the Blues are confident that Fofana has the potential to make a significant impact in the future.
