The Ambassadors for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) have pledged to gather at least 1 million voters in Lagos to support the presidential nominee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the upcoming presidential election.
Abdurrahman Lekki, the state coordinator of the movement, announced that the group aims to mobilize at least one million voters in Lagos for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the upcoming presidential election. He made this announcement in Lagos after the formal inauguration of the state, councils, and ward executives. Lekki stated that the group is well positioned to achieve its target, saying “All the central mosques, the local mosques, and several organizations are with us and our target is at least one million votes. We are structured to deliberately mobilize people from other religions and also to collaborate.” He also added that the group is working closely with Christian counterparts to achieve their combined goal of two million votes.
“Asiwaju is the clear front-runner for the presidential candidate, he is our president in waiting. I don’t think other candidates have a chance. What qualifications do they have? What support do they have? We are confident of winning this election, it’s ours.”
The National Secretary of the movement, Prof. Abdulmojeed Alabi, during the inauguration of the executives, stated that the BAT Ambassadors are working for the betterment of the country. He emphasized that Tinubu is the best candidate for the country currently, saying “We have witnessed his capabilities, having successfully led in Lagos and mobilized diverse groups to do the right work at the right time. We believe that he is the kind of leader that we need at this moment.”
“We need to go door-to-door, from village-to-village, and street-to-street to ensure that we discuss among ourselves that Nigeria needs to move forward and progress beyond where we are currently. The person who can lead us to that progress is Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.”
Prof. Alabi, who disclosed that the BAT Ambassadors for the greatness of Nigeria is a political group focused on electing Tinubu in 2023, stated that they have faith in his ability. He said, “We believe he is the one to elevate Nigeria to a higher level, but we cannot simply sit idly and expect that to happen.”
