In a significant political gesture, President Bola Tinubu has officially bestowed the flag of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) upon three party candidates in anticipation of the upcoming governorship elections scheduled for November 11 in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa states.
The three esteemed candidates receiving the APC flags include Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo, who is seeking re-election for a second term; Timipre Sylva, vying for Bayelsa; and Usman Ododo, the party’s candidate in Kogi state.
This pivotal event took place within the grand Banquet Hall of the State House and was graced by the presence of the national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, along with other key members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) and distinguished guests supporting the aforementioned candidates.
