Underwriting Firm Empowers Female Entrepreneurs with Digital Marketing Skills
AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, an underwriting firm, recently organized a two-day training program in Lagos for over 100 young female entrepreneurs.
The training was aimed at empowering female SME owners with digital marketing skills to improve their digital output and position them for the immense opportunities available in the digital space.
The program was part of the company’s lined-up programs to commemorate this year’s International Women’s Day.
According to Jumoke Odunlami, the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer of AXA Mansard, the program was in line with the company’s inclusivity agenda, and support for women through its inclusive protection programs was crucial to AXA’s purpose of acting for human progress by protecting what matters.
Charles Odii, the Chief Executive Officer of SME 100 Africa, explained that digital skills will play a significant role in Nigeria’s economic future.
To ensure that women are equally represented in unlocking this future potential, AXA Mansard collaborated with SME 100 Africa to support them in developing the required skills.
